Javani King started a small person chef and catering company 12yrs ago in Houston Texas with the idea of creating the most flavorful, savory, morsel of food in a small bite. Inspired by meals that came out of his Creole grandmother small galley style kitchen and his father feeding the family with restaurant favorites that could be made at home, Javani created JK+CO HORSDOEUVRES.
King formally served as the Execuative Chef at Davis St. Houston from 2013-2016. Currently Javani King is the Executive Chef and Creative Director of Dolce Ultra Lounge & Bistro, an impeccably designed 6000sqft restaurant with two private dining areas serving brunch and dinner with seating for 235ppl. “I consider my food a fusion of international techniques based in southern comfort food flavors”, says Chef King, “But plating and presentation is key, and this is why I love my craft!”.
